Here's an interesting article from MTV! This is some really exciting news I think and this is a great opportunity for Jordin to really experiment with herself as an artist.Jordin Sparks is about to become the latest "American Idol" alum to head to the Great White Way. The 2007 "Idol" winner will make her Broadway debut on August 19, when she joins the cast of the Tony- and Grammy-winning musical "In the Heights" in the lead role of Nina Rosario. Like I said, I think this is a great opportunity for Jordin and acting is something she's been wanting to do for a while. This will make it easier I think because she already knows how to sing so that will help with the comfort level on stage. I wish I could see this, I hope I can somehow be in New York when it plays. |

Here's something some of y'all will definitely be interested in. Up for auction is tickets to Jordin's April 27th show at the Nokia Theatre in NYC along with a meet and greet with Jordin after!Includes: Two tickets and a meet & greet with Jordin Sparks on April 27, 2010 at the Nokia Theatre in NYC. While it's a little high for me, I think this would be a perfect Christmas or birthday gift to ask for and it goes to a really great cause! If you can do it, I say definitely go for it because it's an opportunity you possibly won't get again and you will get a night to remember forever! |

Here's a recent post from Jordin on her Facebook regarding a pushback on the L.A. date of her tour:BATTLEFIELD TOUR - L.A. SHOW DATE CHANGE!! The Club Nokia on May 22nd has changed to July 9th. We're so sorry for the inconvenience. If you bought tickets for the May 22 show, then you're fine. Those tickets are good for the July 9th show too! So make sure you note this if you were planning on attending that show. You wouldn't want to show up on the wrong night or forget about it somehow! |

A new show has been included in the current lineup for the tour!May 29 - Myrtle Beach, SC I hope this helps some people who were not able to go previously. I think any additions would be great, it's just an even bigger opportunity for Jordin to reach out to her fans. |

Finally finally some dates have been announced for Jordin's "Battlefield" tour, this is so exciting! I have been hoping for this since I saw her open for Britney, I was earnest to hear more songs off the album.
Set your calendars now and DO NOT miss out! This is going to be amazing and hopefully she will even stay after or come before to meet fans and sign autographs. That would be amazing. |
